Evidence and research
This study examined the efficacy of Aloe Vera in preventing radiation-induced dermatitis in patients undergoing radiotherapy. The results revealed that Aloe Vera, applied topically on a regular basis, helps reduce inflammation, prevent skin peeling, and promote skin barrier recovery. This is due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, as well as its ability to deeply moisturize the skin. Although significant benefits were not observed in all cases, the researchers concluded that Aloe Vera may be an effective complementary option for post-radiation care.

This preliminary study explores how the combination of hyaluronic acid and infrared light can enhance the effects of each treatment synergistically. The results suggest that using both treatments together results in a significant improvement in skin elasticity, as well as a noticeable improvement in its overall appearance. Furthermore, it was observed that infrared light can increase the penetration and effectiveness of hyaluronic acid, promoting greater hydration in the deeper layers of the skin.
